Cliff Carson grew up drawing and making films.    Born and raised in the south by parents from Pittsburgh, Pa,  at age 10 Cliff auditioned and won the title role in the national company of the Lionel Bart musical OLIVER! opposite Vincent Price.  This lead to years of acting professionally in the theatre, on television,  commercials and in industrial and educational films.   At 18 he moved to Los Angeles, Ca and rather than follow in his father, NFL football coach Bud Carson's footsteps,  Cliff enrolled and studied acting with Lee Strasberg at the famed Actors Studio.   After performing in a series of plays,  Cliff  decided to strengthen his skills in art and illustration studying at the Art Centre College of Design in Pasadena, California.  While in school, Cliff began working with art director David Moore at MOORE GRAPHICS & FILMS, INC. in Hollywood.  On weekends he continued to hone his craft by painting billboard album covers for ART N' SIGN in Burbank.   During the years Cliff has painted and designed illustrations for many advertising and entertainment companies as well as private commission work.   His paintings and illustrations are done in a variety of mediums that include acrylic,  pencil and oil on both board and canvas.
